The more the input image have details/colors/gradients the more you have to tweak the threshold which is (for now) not really well done. Img2img is more to reproduce the exact shape/strokes/colors but txt2img will more rely on your prompts even if the picture is almost 80-90% the same as the original. The boundaries are strokes but depending the model you use you can even reproduce lights/shadows/textures, and you can use it in txt2img OR img2img. The only problem is VAE which some are not compatible and output garbage. I tested a lot about this one, and i can tell you now the use of this extension is made to reproduce the base picture to watever you want.Forget about the "SD 1.x model etc. Supposedly it's able of transfering poses ControlNet/models/control_sd15_openpose.pth I was using the v1.5-pruned-emaonly modelĨ) Models that I find interesting and want to try So far I saw it's pretty good coloring drawings, but I wasn't able to get good restoration of photos, I know the model it's not intended for these tasks but I wanted to try them.
